How to make Ocean Waves in Cinema4D
Hey Kieran,
You’re absolutely right — coming from Blender, it can be a bit of a surprise that Cinema 4D doesn’t have native fluid simulation tools built-in (yet). Currently, fluid and ocean simulations in C4D do require third-party plugins like X-Particles, RealFlow, Liquigen, or importing simulations from Blender like you’re doing now.

I am trying to adjust the ‘print’ on the balloon project – which I was able to do with no problem before when I was testing, but now when I update the material, it aligns all wacky and I am stumped.

The preference folder contained most of what i needed.<div>
New.c4d was there. Shortcuts, layouts, settings, plugin.js, databases.
So it was pretty organized. Just backup preference folder. And copy over what you need when done clean installing.
Cheers.

Most of the settings I use over and over again are…
