Apply Material to MoExtruded part only.
Thanks for the file Parag, I’ve emailed over a revised version of your project with a few tweaks to your setup, you almost had it!

The tutorial had some great tips and can’t wait to try them out with my jewerly. In the Swarovski clip it did look like the chains parts were connected to the to the gem stones and were reacting dynamically, with the chain and the metal connecting parts of the stones, which were moving and reacting to turbulence. Could this be done with the…

Balloon Texture tips in Redshift
Hey guys,
I figure I might as well reach out here to see if anyone had any tips regarding some texturing I’m trying todo.
A few years ago I worked on a project with a ton of balloons and I remember simply being able to adjust the Transluscensy/Backlighting slider. I noticed that Redshift doesn’t have this slider anymore and I’m told to adjust…

Ok, good to know! That makes sense since Redshift comes with C4D.

bake multiple baked textures into one single texture
Hello. Each object of my sliced planet is nicely baked with a single texture. BUT how do I bake multiple baked textures into one single texture? Of course all objects have to remain separate. Was asked to do this for unity import. Thanks for any hint.

All 3 are very capable renderers, and all 3 work in very similar ways, so you should be able to go from one to the other pretty easiliy if you ever needed to.
Here’s a few reasons I switched to Redshift:
1. It’s just as fast (if not faster in some cases) as Octane.
2. It’s the most popular and widely used Renderer for Cinema 4D at studios around…

Bullet Tag dynamics vs. Simulation Tag dynamics
Hi Joanna, the bullet solver is the older legacy simulation system in Cinema 4D. It was often very slow, unstable and hard to work with (especially for cloth and soft body simulations).
The new system is much better, it utilizes your GPU so it can simulate much much faster. The new unified system also allows interaction between cloth, soft…

Hello,
I know there are plenty of Octane tutorials on CGShortcuts site. I just wondered if people are using Octane or Redshift which now is a part of C4D? Or any other renderers, like Arnold?

Bullet Tag dynamics vs. Simulation Tag dynamics
Hello,
I’ve always wondered when one would use the Bullet Tag Rigid Body/Collider, for example, vs. the Simulation Tag Rigid Body/Collider. Could any of you share your thoughts & experiences on this?
