Learn how to transfer your Cinema 4D shortcut keys from one version to another.

NOTE: If you have trouble with this (reported in R 2025) save a new shortcut key in your new version of C4D so it generates a new RES file in the prefs/shortcuts folder, then copy the text from your old shortcuts RES file and paste it into the new RES. Restart new C4D and your shortcuts should work.

Sometime maxon changes tools, names, etc so this will not aways be perfect.
